Dr. Fred Miller

Background

Dr. Fred Miller has been in practice since 1983.  After a one year internship in Slidell, he began practice in Mandeville.  Dr. Miller chose Mandeville because of his love for the Northshore.  Dr. Miller completed his pre-chiropractic studies at Louisiana State University and the University of New Orleans.  After completing the undergraduate requirements, he attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia.  Dr. Miller graduated with academic and clinical honors in 1983.  Since graduation, he has completed additional advanced training in x-ray pathology and chiropractic sports medicine.

Chiropractic Care

Having been involved in track and field as well as cross country throughout his academic career, Dr. Miller has been interested in improving human performance and function.  He found that chiropractic is the most effective way to increase performance and function.  It has been his personal experience with athletics, combined with his specialty, that have allowed him to better treat both the serious and recreational athlete.  Improved function is not only a goal of athletes but is the goal for any chiropractic patient.  The greatest reward that Dr. Miller experiences is to see rapid recovery of patients through chiropractic care.

Dr. Miller has a referral network with many of the area physicians.  Although he finds chiropractic to be the key to great health, he incorporates other healing arts that blend with the patient's health goals.  It has been his experience that a cooperative and combined effort of doctors and specialties yields better results.

Personal Life

Dr. Miller lives in Madisonville with his wife, Gail, and has three daughters, Ashley, Madeline, and Kayla.  He is a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church.  He continues to enjoy competitive and recreational sports.
