Gail H. Cooper, P.T. graduated from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, LA from the School of Allied Health Professions in 1984. She worked for 10 years for hospitals in the New Orleans area both in the acute-care setting and the outpatient orthopedics and rehabilitation setting. During that time she taught back school classes to local industries with focus on injury prevention through proper body mechanics and postural principles.
Gail moved to the Northshore in 1994 with continued focus on the acute-care setting and the outpatient orthopedics and rehabilitation setting through local hospitals. Her care is centered on restoring patients to prior functional status through therapeutic exercises and modalities designed to increase range of motion, strength, endurance, and dynamic balance. She has experience with a broad range of patients including pediatric and geriatric patients with many types of orthopedic injuries and neurological impairments.
Gail lives in Mandeville with her husband and four children.
